The Mint

The Mint gives fundraisers a more elegant setting in the heart of downtown San Francisco. Its Greek Revival columns, ornate ballrooms, gaslight chandeliers, and historic details give the venue a natural sense of occasion without making the night feel too rigid.

Inside, you will find two grand ballrooms, a large outdoor courtyard with an optional tented roof, and multiple smaller rooms that can support auctions, sponsor areas, check-in, VIP space, and private donor conversations. The original gold vaults can also be made available for groups that want to bring more of the building’s history into the experience.

Affordability Project Gala

SAN FRANCISCO | THE MINT | FUNDRAISER | 250 GUESTS

A special evening that transformed San Francisco’s history of booms, busts, and reinvention into an immersive guest experience. Guests moved through defining eras of the city’s past, from the Gold Rush and 1906 earthquake to the World’s Fair, Summer of Love, dot-com era, and more. It even featured an “earthquake room” with sound and motion effects that brought one of the city’s most pivotal moments to life. The night culminated in a live auction where each donation helped reveal a projection-mapping of an actual building project, turning the act of giving into a visual call to help build San Francisco’s future through medium-income housing.
