San Francisco’s Park and Recreation Department approached NPU to assume the master tenancy for the Palace of Fine Arts in 2017. The previous tenant was in default for consistently failing to meet minimum requirements and displeasing neighbors and clients alike.
The previous manager left behind an event pipeline in disarray, absconded with client deposit while not returning emails and calls from their contracted event producers. Over the first 60 days, NPU re-established communication with each client to review and prepare for their upcoming event. Despite the abrupt transition, and missing funds, all events were executed well and resulted in repeat clients that we still host with NPU to this day.

We also worked closely with the City to meet and exceed their sales benchmarks, work within their processes and dramatically improve the Palace neighborhood relationships.
