Originally slated to open its doors in April 2020 at SVN West, the Van Gogh Immersive Exhibit was one of many events that was forced to close down before it even began due to the Pandemic. Undeterred, the NPU Team worked closely with the client to keep things moving forward, monitoring health guideline updates, modifying plans and builds on the fly, and more. Acting as the writer of the Health and Safety plan for the client, NPU worked diligently to ensure the show met all of the requirements on the ever-growing list of guidelines.
As a result of that hard work, the NPU plan was met with overwhelming approval from the City Attorney's office, as well as the Department of Health. Finally, in March of 2021, The Van Gogh Immersive Exhibit became the first public-facing event to open in the state of California. The show was an immediate success, allowing the client to expand what was originally a 3-month booking into a full 12-month run that saw more than 1 million visitors through its doors.
